GreenStones are named as one of the UK’s Best Accountancy Practices

On 23 June 2011 at The National Accountants’ Conference in Birmingham, in front of  350 fellow accountants from across the country, we were named as the UK’s Best Accountancy Practice runners-up.

 Announcing the result the conference chairman Steve Pipe said:

 “To be named as runners-up out of the thousands of firms of accountants who were researched for this award is a tremendous achievement. The judging panel, which was made up of some of the most respected figures in the global accountancy profession who really knew what to look for, considered them to be an extraordinary firm. Not only are they incredibly innovative, but their passion, dedication and commitment to their clients, team and community is redefining what excellence means. As a result GreenStones are truly an inspiration to the rest of the profession.”

Accepting the award, GreenStones director Simon Chaplin said:

“It’s brilliant to win an award, especially one which has been judged by such an illustrious panel.  Over the last eight years we have been committed to inspiring, challenging and supporting our customers and the team to be the best they can be.  If our entry helps UK accountants get much better at helping their customers then that’s a bonus.”

We also feature in the book “The UK’s best accountancy practices” which was written as part of the judging process.  In fact, we are the only firm in the book to be featured twice!
