Our mission is to “Inspire, Challenge and Support our customers and colleagues to be the best they want to be”. It is easy for us to tell you that we do but not so easy to get third party confirmation that we do.
In November 2011 we won two awards at the British Accountancy Awards in London. These extremely prestigious awards are held annually, and winners in other categories included KPMG and RSM Tenon.
Our first award was for Independent firm of the year, South East and East England. The judges said: "Greenstones takes a pro-active and highly personalised approach to client care and is not afraid to take tough decisions. This is a vibrant and fun practice that focuses on inspiring, challenging and supporting its clients and employees. This is all coupled with a clear set of values."
The second award was for Employer Excellence. This was awarded to the practice who scored highest in an extensive survey, sent to all employees of the firms who entered.

In June 2011 at The National Accountants’ Conference in Birmingham, in front of 350 fellow accountants from across the country, we were named as the UK’s Best Accountancy Practice runners-up.
We also feature in the book “The UK’s best accountancy practices” which was written as part of the judging process. In fact, we are the only firm in the book to be featured twice!
We were the 5th accountancy practice in the Country to be awarded the Customer First standard which is the external equivalent of Investors in People. You can found out more by clicking here.
Investors in people - We haven't just got Investors in People we have also been recognised as meeting the GOLD standard. This puts us in the top 1% of employers in the country. More details of Investors in People can be found here.
In November 2008 we were short listed for Accountancy Age small firm of the year. The Accountancy Age Awards are the accountant’s equivalent of the BAFTAs and although we did not win we are extremely proud of being recognised in this way.
In 2006 we were we voted runners up in the AVN firm of the year awards and winners of the Midlands region. This award is voted on by our fellow professionals and is a high benchmark of success. We have also been runners up in the national award 4 times in the last 5 years.
We have been highly commended three times in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph Workforce Development award and once in the Customer Service category.
