What do I do at GreenStones?
My role is to ensure that wages are paid correctly and on time for our selective customer base. I am responsible for the smooth running of the Payroll Department at GreenStones and work as part of a team to tight deadlines on a daily basis.
I maintain accurate payroll records and employee files, including manual check log and reconciliation of payroll. I prepare various payroll and management reports, journal entries and reconcile monthly and quarterly payroll taxes.
I review current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes and communicate actively with internal and external departments.
I answer ad-hoc calls and emails from customers and give advice on all payroll matters.
