Here at GreenStones we want to share with you a positive and rewarding way employers can help thank team members for their hard work.
At the end of last month, you may have noticed, we put up numbered balloons in the office. This was to physically represent the amount of self-assessment tax returns we had left to send to our customers for their signatures. As the self-assessment tax return deadline is now rapidly approaching, we are proud to announce that we only have a few remaining balloons to pop!
Before we started popping the balloons, a team member secretly selected a handful of random numbers and paired them to possible prizes and treats for the whole team to enjoy. Some examples of the treats included a lottery ticket each, a tub of chocolates, a Starbucks drink etc.
When a team member sent a tax return to a customer, we were able to pop a numbered balloon, and after comparing the number on the balloon to a specially selected number, we determined if it won the team a prize.
We find that activities like this not only boost spirits and moral, but helps team members to work together in a positive and rewarding way!
