The advancement in time saving to bookkeeping continues. It is now possible to send your invoices and receipts to a third party, who will then populate your accounting software with the data automatically.
One such provider of this service is Receipt-bank. You can send your invoices to Receipt-bank by post, email or drop-box. You can even take a picture of a receipt on your smartphone and send it straight to Receipt-bank. This is great for those out-of-pocket expenses where the receipt gets lost in the wash or your glove compartment.
Receipt-bank works with all leading accounting software, including Quickbooks, Xero, Kashflow and Sage.
