From 01 January 2021 your family, personal and business circumstances could be affected by the UK’s transition out of the EU.
The Government have created a guide to help you, which can be found here www.gov.uk/transition
Simply complete the questionnaire by clicking on Start now >. You will then be provided with a list of all the things you need to consider in order to comply with the new rules to date.
The list covers all kinds of items from checking travel insurance and mobile phone roaming charges to driving permits and business import and export rules.
If you are a UK company and have a non-UK registered company acting as a director or secretary of your company, you will need to confirm:-
- the legal form of that corporate officer; and
- the law by which that corporate officer is governed.
You should be contacted by Companies House by letter to notify you of any necessary changes. Forms will be available to update information from 31 December 2020 and companies will have 3 months from that date to provide this information.
