The government have announced that Making Tax Digital, the program they have designed to force people to submit quarterly tax returns and keep electronic records, has been postponed.
Under the new time table, businesses with a turnover of more than £85,000 will now have to comply with the new rules from April 2019 (a year later than originally planned) with other businesses coming on a year later.
We will, of course, keep you up to date with future developments to Making Tax Digital. Should you have any questions in the meantime, please call David Swann on 01733 372681 or email him at: david@greenstones.co.uk
