You will be required to download a free authenticator app; however the process is simple…
- Log into your Xero account
- Click on your name in the top right hand corner of the screen followed by account
- Follow the instructions to enable your two-step authentication
Once you have installed the app, enabled the two-step authentication and linked the two together, you will be required to enter a code, generated there and then by the app alongside your usual email address and password.
Please ensure EVERYONE with access to your Xero Accounting software enables the two-step authentication to help protect your financial information. We have had recent reports of Xero information being compromised, so make sure this doesn’t happen to you by enabling two-step authentication NOW.
